Nearly 26.000 visitors confirm RHEINGOLF as the biggest public golf show in Europe. Again exhibitor record. Standing ovation at Rheingolf Awards Ceremony
Pulheim/Cologne, March 2007 – With nearly 26.000 visitors, RHEINGOLF 2007 achieved again the high level of visitor numbers of the previous year. RHEINGOLF – the German Golf Show confirms therefore impressively its position as market leader among the European public golf shows. Moreover, the exhibitors were very satisfied by their participation during the three days of the show. Michael Jacoby, CEO - Rheingolf : “RHEINGOLF remains the market leader within the German and European golf shows. We have proved this again impressively this year. “
Again exhibitor record With more than 220 stands RHEINGOLF achieved a new exhibitor record again in its ninth year. More than 500 national and international exhibitors presented on a 18.400 sqm surface in hall 8 of the Koelnmesse a complete range of products from the golf sport and golf tourism sector. Along the 160 m long RHEINGOLF Boulevard, golfers and travellers found a lot of information sources about top holiday destinations for golfers. The Boulevard was therefore for those three days Europe’s biggest golf travel shop for top national and international destinations within the four and five star sector.
Brisk SalesThe visitors took again advantage of RHEINGOLF as the biggest European golf shop for the weekend. There was never before a large offer on the already enlarged sales surfaces of Karstadt, Kaufhof, GolfHouse, GolfPartner, Hohmann, Fairway Golfshop and many others. Almost overwhelmed were the manufacturers of the Indoor Driving Ranges. The visitors tested as much as they could.
Event program achieved a high visitor interest In the LTU golf arena, during the Rheingolf Charity event, as well as at the Longest Drive competition and the Nordea Putting Tournament – a high number of visitors made each event to a spectacular one. As in the previous years the manifold event program ensured best entertainment and high visitor numbers. Here, prominent teaching gurus like Don Ross, Heinz-Peter Thül, Paul Dyer and Frank Adamowicz gave tips and hints to the audience for improving their golfing.
